1319497 - In Time Sheet of the Employee, the Vacation Day is Marked Green Though Leave Request not yet Approved by the Manager

When you request for a leave, the vacation days are marked green in the overview calendar of the time sheet even if the manager has not approved the leave request yet.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Home work center.
2. Go to Self-Services view.
3. Select Edit Time Sheet link.

In the overview calendar shown here, the days for which leaves have been requested are shown green. However, the corresponding leave request for those days has not been approved by the manager.

In order to verify whether the leave request is still 'In Approval', you can select the link 'Show Details' to see the request's current status.

The system works as designed.

In fact, the overview calendar within the time sheet of the employee is not meant to provide information on the status of a leave request. The green color in the overview calendar within the time sheet only means that some time records have been released for the day; it doesn't mean that the time records have been approved.

In order to track the status of your leave requests, you should use the corresponding functionality within the Self-Services:

1. Go to Home work center.
2. Go to Self-Services view.
3. Select Track My Leave Requests link.
