1325914 - Vacations Booked And Approved Are Neither Deducted From The Corresponding Time Account Nor Shown in The Employee Time Sheet

Vacations, which are already booked and approved by the manager, are not deducted from the corresponding time account of the employee. They are shown in the Time Administrator's view of the time sheet, but not in the employee's view of the time sheet (through the Self Services).

To view employee's time file as a time administrator:

1. Go to the work center Time Administration.
2. Go to the view Employees.
3. Select the relevant employee from the list and select the button Edit.
4. Select the tab Employee Times. Here, the booked vacations are correctly shown.
5. Select the tab Time Account Balances. Here, the deduction from the corresponding time account is missing.

The employee can see own time sheet:

1. Go to the work center Home.
2. Go to the view Self-Services.
3. Select the link Edit Time Sheet. Here, the already booked and approved vacations are not shown.

The employee has a working time model assigned. The working model is defined using a time type which has not been categorized in the work center 'Business Configuration' as 'Relevant for Time Schedule'.

This missing configuration has a side effect: the system considers the target hours as 0 (for every single day) and all the absences are therefore valuated with 0 hours. In turn this causes the missing posting to the time accounts and the missing display of the absences in the employee time sheet in self-services view.

In order to solve the issue, it is necessary to perform the following steps:

1. Go to the work center Business Configuration.
2. Go to the view Activity List.
3. Select the arrow Fine-Tune.
4. Search for the activity Time Types with Time Accounts and open it.
5. Select the link 'Maintain Employee Time Types'.
6. Select the employee time type relevant for the time schedule and configure the column Relevance for Work Schedules with the appropriate value. Note that this column should be configured with the appropriate value for every time type appearing in a working model.
7. Select the button Save and close.

This correction has some effects:

1. The correction will affect every employee that has a time model associated with the changed time type. 
2. It is necessary to perform a correction run of the end period closure in order to correct past data.
3. The correction described above might affect the content of HCM reports.
