1329370 - Unable to use Desktop Intelligence Report after Conversion to Web Intelligence in BOE3.0\3.1.

Symptom

  • Specific Desktop Intelligence report after conversion to Web Intelligence rendered useless.
  • Unable to scroll on the report in Web Intelligence as well as in Webi Rich Client.
  • Following error message is displayed in Java Console while trying to run the converted Desktop Intelligence report.

    • Error "java.lang.ClassCastException",Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-2".

    java.lang.ClassCastException:com.businessobjects.wp.tc.TCReport cannot be cast to
    com.businessobjects.wp.tc.TCReportBlock" .

  • Unable to click on color palettes in left property panel.
  • General User Interface problems due to freezing of report.
  • This behavior only occurs with Java editor.
