Symptom

  • Using the Section.DeleteObject method

Reproducing the Issue

  • Report Designer Component (RDC) SDK
  • Using the Section.DeleteObject method

Resolution

  • The DeleteObject method expects the string name of the field to delete from the section.
  • Don't pass in an actual FieldObject to this method
