Symptom
- When setting up the DSN to use NT authentication, Crystal Reports is unable to get data with the error "Incorrect Log On Parameters" once it is exported to Business Objects Enterprise. Even if Crystal Reports is installed on the server and runs fine from the full client you may get one of the following errors when run from Infoview.
1) Prompt the user for database logon:
Server Used: BUSINESSOBJ.reportjobserver
Error Message: Error in File E:\BusinessObjects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5 \Data\procSched\BUSINESSOBJ.reportjobserver\~tmpbec5a4b4f3dcd8.rpt:
Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters.
2) Use SSO context for database logon:
Server Used: BUSINESSOBJ.reportjobserver
Error Message: Error in File E:\BusinessObjects\BusinessObjects
Enterprise 11.5
\Data\procSched\BUSINESSOBJ.reportjobserver\~tmpbec5a4b5047bac.rpt:
Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters. Details: [Database
Vendor Code: 18452 ]
3) Use same database logon as when report is run:
- The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or
incorrect. - Unable to retrieve Object.
