1338426 - Central Management Server can not be restarted after installing Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack 1 to Xcelsius 2008

• Central Management Server (CMS) can not be restarted after installing Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack 1 (SP1) to Xcelsius 2008
• "Error: Server <server_name:port> not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null”

1. Install Xcelsius 2008 SP1 to Xcelsius 2008.
2. Log on to Central Management Console (CMC), go to Servers and restart CMS.
3. Observe the status of CMS.
   If Visual Studio Just-In-Time Debugger is enabled, Visual Studio Just-In-Time Debugger appears with a message “An unhandled win32 exception occurred in CMS.exe”.
   If Visual Studio Just-In-Time Debugger is disabled, CMS restarting is hanging up.
4. Close CMC and log on to CMC again, the error “Error: Server <server_name:port> not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null” appears
5. Log on to InfoView, the error “Error: Server <server_name:port> not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null” appears.

Xcelsius was not able to load the keydecoder.dll file when restarting CMS.

Stop Server Intelligence Agent from (SIA) from Central Configuration Manager (CCM).
Add “-trace” to command and start SIA.
Log on to CMC.

Check the log file of SIA.
It shows the following error message:
Ping to JA-2K3SP2:6400 failed.

Check the log file of SIA.
It shows the following error message:

1. Copy the keydecoder.dll file from win32_x86 folder of Business Objects 12.0 and paste it in the Xcelsius folder of C drive.
   For example
   Copy
   keydecoder.dll file from C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86
   to
   C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Xcelsius\
2. Restart SIA from CCM.
