1344171 - Unable to edit SQL Query using Add Command in Crystal reports 2008

Symptom

when we try to change the sql query under edit command on a report, it does not allow to make changes and throws.error: Invalid Argument Provided. Details: The alias requested 'Command', contains a combination of characters which is not considered to be valid.

Reproducing the Issue

1- Create a new report
2- Click 'add command' and enter an SQL query.
3- Click OK to add the command to the Selected Tables list
4- Right click the newly added command and click Edit
5- Click OK --it is not necessary to change the SQL to cause the error .
6- Error message:Invalid Argument Provided.
Details: The alias requested 'Command', contains a combination of
characters which is not considered to be valid.
It is not practical to delete the command and add another since that will delete all fields from the report.

Resolution

1.Issue is traced and  fixed Fix Pack 1.1 along with Cr 2008 SP1.

2.Version will be updated as 12.1.1.957
