When opening and running a Web Intelligence report, and saving it, the file size of the *.wid file grows even if the data for the report does not change. 

Is there a way to compact or compress a WID file? Why does the WID file grow when nothing has changed? For example: We end up with large WID files that run slowly, when nothing fundamentally has changed with the report.
