Symptom

  • Some users cannot login to Desktop Intelligence when launching the application from the Start menu.
  • Error: [repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade: penSession - 
    (com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception.SDKException$SecurityError: LDAP
    Authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon
    information is correct. If your account is under any root other than
    ou=groupname,dc=domain,dc=com you must enter your dn. (FWM 00007)
    cause:javax.naming.AuthenticationException: [LDAP: error code 49 -
    Invalid Credentials]
