1350551 - Can we schedule Desktop Intelligence reports without overriding existing reports ?

Symptom

  • When a Desktop Intelligence(DeskI) user wants to schedule a DeskI document while setting new prompts values in schedule, user must export the document to repository.
  • If the user does not have the necessary rights to export the document to the repository (this is mostly common on Public Folders), the action fails.
  • This is specifically applicable to BO 6.5.X. In Business Objects XI Release2 /Business Objects XI 3.1 : we cannot schedule Desktop Intelligence reports without overriding the existing reports.
