1354432 - Text Rotation in Cross-tab doesn't export to MS-Excel(97-2000) Data Only

Symptom

Text in the column header, that is showing at a 90 degree rotation in Crystal Reports, is not exporting to 'MS-Excel(97-2000) Data Only'

Reproducing the Issue

1. Open Crystal Reports Designer
2. Create a new blank report, connecting to your database table
3. Insert a cross-tab
4. Right click on one of the column headers, and format the field to rotate the text 90 degrees
5. Export the report to MS-Excel(97-2000) Data Only
6. Notice the text is not rotated 90 degrees

Cause

MS-Excel(97-2000) Data Only exports do not perform this feature of formatting

Resolution

Use export to MS-Excel(97-2000), which includes more formatting options
