1354474 - Identical CMS Repository Database Query executes many times causing high database CPU utilization

Symptom

  • High CPU utilization on server hosting CMS Database is observed.
  • CMS Database has same query which has thousands of executions per hour
  • Following is an example query generated by CMS.exe which demonstrates this behaviour:
    SELECT ParentID, COUNT(ObjectID) FROM CMS_InfoObjects6 WHERE ParentID IN (299798, 317680, 340134, 374681, 414425, 429246, 434519, 444899, 455943) AND SI_HIDDEN_OBJECT = 0 GROUP BY ParentID
