Symptom

  • Adobe Player Stream Error #2032 when using Web Service from an Xcelsius Flash document with I.E. (Internet Explorer)
  • Error when running simultaneous Xcelsius dashboard using Web services

 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Run a complex Xcelsius dashboard with numerous Web Service connections (or a slow network) in multiple Infoview windows (using one single user) with I.E.6 and I.E.7
  2. Error #2032 is raised (screenshot attached)

Cause

Logged as Product Defect ADAPT01234705

Resolution

  • Fixed in Service Pack 2 of Xcelsius 2008
  • Workaround: Use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer
