One of the Crystal Reports Designer applications (Crystal Reports XI Release 1, Crystal Reports XI Release 2, Crystal Reports 2008) is used to create a crystal report on a Windows workstation, which is then saved to a UNIX or Linux machine hosting the XI Enterprise product. When viewed in InfoView, the fonts look different, sometimes causing fields to overlap, text overruns into margins, and in general the formatting does not appear the same as when viewed in the designer application.
