Symptom

  • The error "Unable to import the Object. Parent Folder does not exist" error is returned when importing Reports from a 'Biar' file backup into a Business Objects Enterprise XI R3 system.
  • The problem occurs while importing reports for a user that already exists or has been imported earlier into the BusinessObjects Enterprise system.
