If we use a VARCHAR MAX field in a SQL Server 2005 view. Crystal doesn't even list the field in the file explorer.
Cause
When we use VARCHAR MAX field in a SQL Server 2005 view then crystal will read this field as Memo field.
Resolution
This is a limitation of crystal reports. Varchar Max datatype of Sql Server is not yet supported within Crystal Reports.
