- Deployed Visual Studio .NET application using Crystal Reports and connecting to a Btrieve database returns the following error message:
Failed to load database information.
Details: The database DLL 'crdb_p2bbtrv.dll' could not be loaded.
Reproducing the Issue
Deploy Visual Studio .NET application using Crystal Report which connects to Btrieve database.
Cause
The Btrieve database engine was not installed.
Resolution
Install the Btrieve database engine on the system with the Visual Studio .NET application.
