1373773 - WINSOCK errors when trying to log into Pilot Application Server (PAS) on another machine

Symptom

  • When trying to launch Pilot Application Server (PAS) for Strategy Management (SM), an series of errors occur:

First error: 

Analysis Server Error Detected

COM005: A recv call failed during execution of function 44.  WINSOCK returned the error core - WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer. . A return code of 0 or -1 generally indicates that the server process has stopped communicating.  COMMUNICATIONS ERRORS CAUSE THIS DLL TO ISSUE AN ABORT.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program c:\Program Files\SAP Business...

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
