1377802 - How to configure Single Sign On (SSO) on the SAP Netweaver 7.0 portal to BusinessObjects Enterprise (BOE) XI 3.1

• Information for integrating SAP EP with BOE XI 3.1
• "We want to connect our new BusinessObjects XI 3.1 running on SAP Netweaver7.1 environment to our portal (SAP Netweaver7.0) - working with SSO - unfortunately we couldn't find any guidelines depending to this Please could you give some advice how to do to do this this?"

Prior to setting up EP SSO you should ensure the prerequisites are met.

1. SAP integration kit is installed and SAP users can logon manually to infoview and opendocument
2. The EP system FQDN and the BOE FQDN are in the same AD or DNS domain
3. In the CMC > authentication > SAP > options, a default system is selected
4. The web.xml for BOEinstall\tomcat55\webapps\infoviewapp and BOEinstall\tomcat55\webapps\opendocument have the folllowing

• sso.enabled set to true
• siteminder.enabled set to false
• vintela.enabled set to false
• authentication.default set to secSAPR3

The rest of the required steps are between Netweaver and the SAP backend which are the basic configurations for successfully mapping SAP roles/users into BOE.
