1380444 - Value “*” in a cascading prompt fails to select the corresponding values in a child prompt in Crystal Reports XIR2

Symptom

  • Cascading prompt on Crystal Report fails to display values with special characters
  • Values using "!", "?", "#" or "*" are not selected on 2nd hierarchy of the cascading prompt
  • Only value "!" is displayed on child level prompt if special character is selected on parent prompt
