Symptom

  • Unable to send WebI reports via email from the Web Intelligence Rich Client when using Lotus Notes as the email client.
  • Error recieved:
    • "Message: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Current system default mailer is not supported. atorg.jdesktop.jdic.desktop.internal.impl.ServiceManagerStub.getService (Unknown Source) atorg.jdesktop.jdic.desktop.internal.ServiceManager.getService (Unknown Source) at org.jdesktop.jdic.desktop.Desktop.mail(UnknownSource)at com.businessobjects.webi.richclient.mail.MailManager$MailRunner.run (Unknown Source)".
  • Sending from the Java Report Panel works without error.
