1381948 - Error: "Invalid Spreadsheet", Xcelsius 2008 batch utility fails

Symptom

Xcelsius 2008 batch utility returns error message when it is used with large excel sheet of size more than 1 MB
Error: "Invalid Spreadsheet"

Reproducing the Issue

1. Choose excel file of up to 800 KB. Design an Xcelsius model and export it as an SWF

2. Use the Xcelsius 2008 batch utility with this excel file to produce a new SWF

3. Iteratively, keep adding data to this excel file and repeat Step 2

4. At some point when the excel file size crosses more than 1MB, running batch utility returns error
