1385359 - Job fails with the following Error message <DbEnv::open: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery>

Symptom

After using svrcfg command to start the job server on Linux, the ps command shows that more than one process has been created (see attached screenshot).

Moreover, the following error message appears when any job is launched:

Initializing environment failed for pageable cache with error <30974> and error
message <DbEnv::open: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery>.
