1386130 - SSM: Error "ORA-12154 TNS:could not resolve service name"

Symptom

  • Error when trying to connect Strategy Management (SSM) Pilot Application Server (PAS) which is residing on a Windows 64 bit machine to an Oracle Server using ODBC (odbcad32.exe) PAS throws.
  • Error: 'ORA-12154 TNS:could not resolve service name'.
  • However, an ODBC connection test works fine.
