Symptom

In a working BusinessObjects Enterprise 3.1 environment:

  • LDAP logons and soon logons of all types suddenly begin to hang without any response.
  • Logon attempts from web or thick applications are equally affected.
  • This issue may correct itself or a manual re-start of the CMS might be required to correct it.
