1390158 - BusinessObjects Enterprise installation stalls/hangs after "Running Early Post Install Actions"

Symptom

During installation of BusinessObjects (BOBJ) Enterprise XI 3.x or XI Release 2, the installer's progress seems to halt during the "Running Early Post Install Actions" stage.

Additionally, Java HotSpot Virtual Machine error logs may be created reporting "An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine". These problem reports will cite libhoard.so.1 as the 'Problematic Frame'.
