1393762 - "http status 400 /platformServices/content/view was requested" when viewing an instance generated by a Publication in a separate window

Symptom

when viewing a crystal report instance generated by a publication in a different browser window, we get the error message:

  • "http status 400 /CrystalReports/view was requested" if the format is Crystal Report
  • "http status 400 /platformServices/content/view was requested" if the format is pdf or excel.
