1401490 - Error in MDDataSetBW.GetCellData, when running a Web Intelligence report on a SAP universe where authorization variables are used.

Symptom

  • Running a web intelligence report that uses a universe based on an SAP Infocube, Multiprovider, Bex Query with Authorization variables produces an error;
  • A Database error occurred. The database error text is :Error in MDDataSetBW.GetCellData. (WIS 10901)
  • If you add a filter to the report to filter the data on the authorization variable being used, the report runs successfully.
  • If you run the same query in BEX Analyzer without a filter you receive an error "No Authorization"
  • Adding a filter to the query in BEX Analyzer produces correct results.
