1403068 - "Unknown entitlement system" error when adding objects to or promoting an LCM job

• Adding objects to an LCM promotion job fails with the following error:
  "Sorry, LCM application is unable to process your request. The error from the server is: Failed to get dependencies of the job. com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception.SDKServerException: Failed while trying to obtain the connection provider object for system <entitlement system>. Unknown entitlement system: <entitlement system>. Logon cannot proceed. "
• Jobs which have been promoted fail with error:
  Commit Status=Commit attempted and failed., Promotion Status=Failure : Object has failed to promote. Please see the log for more details
  
• Adaptive job server (AJS) logs for such failures show indicate errors similar to :
  ImportFailedcom.businessobjects.sdk.biar.BIARException$SDKException: CE SDK Exception occurred : 'The SAP security plugin failed to get SAP user/group attribute. Failed while trying to obtain the connection provider object for system XXXXXXXXX. Unknown entitlement system: XXXXXXXXX. Logon cannot proceed. ' (FWM 04002)"
