Symptom
Crystal reports using JDBC driver connect to SQLServer, runs fine in the Crystal Reports, but when view it on CMC or Infoview, get this error: Invalid argument for database.
On the server end, you already modified the CRConfig.xml under the bobje/java folder by the following:
- Add the sqlserver jdbc jar file to the CLASSPATH
- Add the following entry for SQLserver under the <GenericJDBCDriver> section
<SQLSERVER>
<ServerType>SQLSERVER</ServerType>
<QuoteIdentifierOnOff>OFF</QuoteIdentifierOnOff>
<DriverClassName>com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver</DriverClassName>
<StoredProcType>Standard</StoredProcType>
<LogonStyle>MySQL</LogonStyle>
</SQLSERVER>
The report still fails with the same error.
