1404652 - Configuring a Windows Server 64-bit Java Web Application server with Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1 SP2 and SAP Integration Kit XI 3.1 SP2.

How to configure a 64-bit Java Web Application Server on a Windows Server with Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1 Service Pack 2 and the SAP Integration Kit XI 3.1 SP2.

Known Problems:

When trying to import roles in the CMC Authentication screen from an SAP BW server, the role import tab produces one of the following messages:

  • JCO.classInitialize(): Could not load middleware layer '' JCO.nativeInit(): Could not initialize dynamic link library sapjcorfc [C:\WINDOWS\SYSWOW64\sapjcorfc.dll: can't load IA 32-bit .dll on a AMD 64-bit platform]
  • com/sap/mw/jco/JCO$Function

Also, the CMC's SAP Authentication tab may be present and not be active, or will display a blank window when selected.

The example provided is for Tomcat 5.5 but most is also applicable to other Web Application servers.
