Why is the Crystal Report Viewer 2008 slower than the offline viewer from XIR2?
Cause
The offline viewer and Crystal Report Viewer are two different products with different code streams.
Resolution
- If you want the same functionality in Business Objects (BO) XIR 3.1 that you had in the offline viewer from BO XIR2, install the XIR 3.1 offline viewer
- The offline viewer in 3.1 can be found in the install files under the directory Collaterals\Add-Ons
