1406071 - Extreme slowness in Infoview after installing SP2 for XI3.1

Symptom

  • We upgraded our .NET XI 3.1 environment to Service Pack 2. Ever since the upgrade the 8 CPU box we're running on has been consistently and randomly spiking to 100% on all 8 CPUs and users are experiencing extreme slowness when trying to navigate around in InfoView. An example would be having to wait 10-15 seconds for a right click menu to come up for a folder or report.
