SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

1407188 - 'View MDX' button is not available in Web Intelligence, the View SQL button is greyed out.

Symptom

  • For relational databases, WebIntelligence has a 'View SQL' button to see the generated Query statement.
  • For WebIntelligence connecting to an SAP BEX query (or any other OLAP datasource) this feature is not available to get the MDX syntax
  • The button is greyed out.
