1407885 - Data Services XI 3.1 (version 12.1.1.4) Fix Pack release note

The following product issues have been addressed in 12.1.1.4:

ADAPT01308012

AR RapidMart data flow DF_BillingDistributionFact_OA failed with error "System running out of virtual memory", even with cache type set to pageable. This issue has been resolved. 

ADAPT01301387

When directly loading data from an Oracle CDC table and changing the DI_SEQUENCE_NUMBER data type to decimal, an access violation occurred. This issue has been resolved.  

ADAPT01301357

Data Services engine crashed if more than one query transform was added after a DQ transform or a sample SDK transform. This issue has been addressed. 

ADAPT01295294

A data flow with sorting might run into memory corruption which could result in a crash. This issue has been addressed.  

ADAPT01290869

The replace_substr() function might append extra characters at the end of the data. This issue has been resolved.  

ADAPT01286093

The Designer failed intermittently while performing "view data" on a table. This issue has been resolved.  

ADAPT01284390

When a local or global variable value was passed via a parameter to a COBOL copybook format to set the data file name, the value of the variable was truncated. This issue has been resolved.  

ADAPT01279182

The function table_attribute used in parallel work flows randomly caused the job to hang. This issue has been resolved.  

ADAPT01276781

In a job with try/catch that has a flow with more than four levels of "nested if" conditions and the last level caused an error, the job hung on the AIX platform. This problem has been resolved. 

ADAPT01258858

A job which contained a Table Comparison transform in the following situation sometimes got an access violation error which caused the engine to core dump: The transform used either the Row-by-row or Sorted-input option. The transform also used Detect deleted rows and Detect row with largest generated key value options specified. The job also started with the "Collect Statistics" option. This issue has been resolved.

Server configuration utility SVRCFG crashed on SuSe LINUX. This issue has been resolved.  

ADAPT01241280

If a job contains an inner join with no data from the outer table, the job sometimes hung. This issue has been resolved.  

ADAPT01203120

Job service status was displayed as "Not Running" in svrcfg tool although the process was running. The issue has been addressed.   

ADAPT01106501

When the data flow contained a Table Comparison transform with input that contained duplicate rows and the "cached comparison" method was used, the data flow might fail with virtual memory error when processing large amount of data. This issue has been resolved.
