Symptom

  • Getting error when refreshing a Web Intelligence reports

  • "An internal error occurred while calling '' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)" when refreshing WebI documents

  • After enabling the trace for Web Intelligence Report Server (please refer to SAP-note 1335757) the following errors are displayed on the log file:

ERROR:C3_DPSerialization:Unexpected exception caught in SaveDomain_Values [kc3cdbdpstrunit.cpp;2558]
ERROR:C3_DPSerialization:DSDocData_StreamUnit::SerializeOut() : BOException caught : Generic application exception [kc3cdbdpstrunit.cpp;3845]
ERROR:C3_Dataprovider:BOException : Generic application exception [kc3cdbdataprovider.cpp;6012]
ERROR:SRM:An internal error occured while dgSerializeManagerImpl is calling pC3SerialDP->SaveAll [kdgSerializeManager.cpp;2365]
ERROR:WICDZ_i:BOException : BOException caught:RESULT=80004005;WHAT=An internal error occured while dgSerializeManagerImpl is calling pC3SerialDP->SaveAll [kdgWICDZProc.cpp;435]
