1412074 - OLAP Web Intelligence report with 'Optional Prompt' in Filter where value contains a 'space' results in an error message

Symptom

  • When using an 'optional prompt' in OLAP-Webi report query, values which include a blank (space) in the name give an error message, instead of displaying the result data in the report. Error Message:
    • A database error occurred. The database error text is: Failed to execute MDX query. Reason: The component Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Analysis Services 2005 returned server error (Query (1, 78) Parser: The syntax for 'Golf' is incorrect.). (WIS 10901)
