Symptom

  • Job server cannot be reached from Data Services Designer
  • Error message pop-up when trying to run a batch job from Data Services Designer:

  • "Job Server <host>:<port> - notification server error (BODI-1241023)" in Designer
  • Job server is up and running and jobs can be run from Data Services Management Console > Administrator tool.
  • Job Server not responding.
  • ERROR: The job server you selected is not working.
