Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the report and verify that the database field is set to HTML Text Interpretation.

  2. Using RAS/report client document pass the report a dataset based on the xml output provided.

  3. Run the report.

  4. You will notice that the text comes through as clear text instead of being interpreted in HTML format.

  5. Export the report from the viewer and open it in the Crystal Reports designer.

  6. Check the database field and you will find that the interpretation is now set to none, despite it was set to HTML Text Interpretation originally.
