Symptom

  • When refreshing or scheduling a Desktop intelligence report you receive the error message:
    Getting error “Connection or SQL sentence error :( DA0005): [Exception: [IBM] Iseries Access ODBC Driver] Communication link failure. Comm. rc=8002 – CWBSY0002 –Password for the user <USER> on the server <SERVER> is not correct, Password length=6, Prompt Mode=Never, System IP Address= x.x.x.x State:28000] A connection required to refresh this document is unavailable. (DA0004): The following data providers have not been successfully refreshed: <CONNECTION>. (DMA0007)”
