Symptom
The following issue was discussed on our Crystal Reports Design forum.
Hi everyone,
I have run across an issue with a few reports causing an error on certain client printers. The printer I'm using to re-create and test the problem on is an HP LaserJet 1022.
We have a .NET 2003 application that uses CR 11.5 r2 libraries (*FP 5.6* installed on dev machine where testing is taking place).
The .net app obtains SQL results and pushes a data set into the report as the data source. There are no sub-reports.
On most printers we try, the reports print out fine. On certain printers, a blank page prints out, the printer goes into an error state that requires users to hit their printer's version of the "continue" or "resume" button, and then the report prints out fine once all that is done.
I exported the report and data set from within the application so I could debug the issue in the IDE as well. The same problem occurred. I created an access database with the schema, used it as the report's data source in the IDE, and the same issue occurred.
Has anyone seem anything similar or have any suggestions as to what may cause this behavior?
