1428258 - Crystal Reports XI and 11.5 version conflict

Symptom

The following issue was answered in the Crystal Reports Legacy Application Development SDKs forum.

Our software runs Crystal XI (installed via merge modules) against an Access database. Everything was fine until one of our customers installed the latest upgrade to their accounting software, which uses Crystal 11.5. Now, every time the customer tries to launch a report from our software, they get a "logon failed" message.

Uninstalling and re-installing our software did not have any effect. Is there some known conflict between XI and 11.5? If so, is there any workaround?
