Symptom

  • Unable to open child swf file via slideshow in Xcelsius.
  • Invalid logon token: . (FWM 02080) error when tattempting to initialize Child .SWF file.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a sample SWF from Xcelsius using QaaWS and set the file to refresh on load.
  2. Publish the file as Child.swf into Enterprise and obtain the iDocID of the file.
  3. Launch Xcelsius again to start the Parent model.
  4. Place an external slideshow on the canvas and link the URL field to A1.
  5. In the data manager, add a Flash Variable. Name the range: CELogonToken and bind to cell B1.
  6. In cell A1 enter the following formula:
  7. ="documentDownload?..iDocID=<iDocID>&CELogonToken="&B1&"&sKind=Flash". 
  8. Export the SWF to Enterprise while naming it Parent.swf.
  9. Log into Infoview XI 3.1 FP1.2 and open Parent.swf..

Cause

This functionality is not available in Business Objects/ Xcelsius 2008.

Resolution

An Enhancement Request (ER) has been raised for this issue with an ADAPT ID: ADAPT01310952.

Install Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack3 Fix Pack 3.1
