Symptom

  • Cannot start the Central Management Server.
  • Recives error in Central Configuration Manager: Failed to retrieve cluster name from the database. Reason: Unable to connect to the database using the provided connection string. Reason: ERROR2003(HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1'(10061).
  • Error message while logging into MySql while logging through Command prompt: "ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySqL server on 'localhost' (10061)”
