1433976 - OpenDocument SSO hanging when non AD users attempt to access opendoc links

Symptom

  • When accessing opendocument with vintela SSO AD users can view documents without being prompted
  • When accessing opendoc links with non AD users the URL hangs and displays logonvintela.do then logontrustedauth.do and continues back and forth until the browser is closed
  • If SSO fails with proper AD users they could experience the same symptoms
  • These symptoms have also been observed when SSO fails over a VPN

  • Issue was reproduced in XI 3.1 SP2 but may occur in XI 3.1 FP 1.1 or later
  • Issue is not reproducable on XI 3.1
