1440582 - Administrators account cannot neither delete nor move objects on public folders

Symptom

  • Being a member of the Administrators group, an admin user cannot delete objects from public folders.
  • This admin user has the Full Control access level on public folders.
  • When trying to move an object in the CMC using this admin account, the following error message occurs: "Sorry, you do not have the right to 'delete objects' (ID:xx) for 'Object title' (ID: xxxx). Please contact your administrator if you require this right".
  • After logging to Infoview, using this admin account, the 'delete' option from the 'organize menu' is greyed.
