  • Weighted Average summaries that are equal to zero in Crystal Reports doesn't export the correct value when exporting the report to MS Excel Data-Only

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In Crystal Reports, add a group to a report
  2. Create a formula to remove values, so we can have a weighted average equal to zero to reproduce the issue. ( Below is an example of a formula )

If {Amount} < 1000 Then 0 Else {Amount}

  1. Insert a Weighted Average summary for the group based on the formula created in step 2
  2. Ensure the report option “Convert Other Null Values to Default” is checked
  3. Preview the report and notice the groups where the weighted average is equal to zero
  4. Export the report to the format: Microsoft Excel (97-2003) Data-only
  5. Open the exported report in MS Excel and notice the incorrect values, notice where the weighted average should be equal to zero, it displays the previous weighted average.
