1449736 - Errors STW00226 and STW00225 when installing BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1with DB2 8.1

Symptom

  • While installing BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 with DB2 8.1 the following errors are received:

CMS Database error: STW00226

BusinessObjects Enterprise CMS: Unable to connect to the CMS system database

"nameserver". Reason: Database acess error. Reason [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/6000] SQL0286N

A default table space could not be found with a page size of at least "4096" that

authorization ID "BO_USER" is authorized to use. SQLSTATE=42727

Database control error: STW00225

Database acess error. Reason [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/6000] SQL0107N The name

"AUDIT_EVENT_CUID_IDX" is too long. The maximum length is "18". SQLSTATE=42622
