1451300 - Error: unable to load clntsh while pointing the CMS database to Oracle in BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2

Symptom

  • Executing the script cmsdbsetup.sh ,error received : Unable to load clntsh Could not load databasesubsystem: Oracle client must be at least version 8.1.
  • The Oracle database server and client version is same (Oracle 10.2.0).
  • Central Management Server log file contains: Fail to initialize or uninitialize. Reason is The root server reported an error Initialization Failure.
