1452015 - Business Objects Enterprise trace files fail to get generated when using the <Process Name>_trace.ini file.

Symptom

  • No trace/log files are generated in the <BOBJ Install>/logging folder when using the methodology of placing the <Process Name>_trace.ini file in 'Win32_x86' folder(On Windows) or in 'bobje' folder(On Unix).
  • The content of the ini file is correct and reads as follows

           active = true;
           importance = '<<' ;
           size = 100000;
           keep = true ;
